Facebook Self-Publishing Platform

Soon, Facebook is going to launch a self-publishing platform for writers and journalists that will allow them to monetize their content.

It was reported on Tuesday that social giant Facebook confirmed its plans to launch a new platform where writers can self-publish their content, grow their audiences and make money using money-generating tools that start with subscribers.

The new platform is expected to be available in a couple of months in the U.S.

However, Facebook plans to launch a free, self-publishing tool with “reliable style options” for creating individual websites and email newsletters.

According to the company, it will be seamlessly linked to Facebook pages, allowing for publishing in a variety of multimedia formats, including photos, videos and live-streamed stories. Furthermore, indie writers and journalists will be able to create Facebook groups and use analytics to understand how their content is working.

According to Facebook CEOs, the company also intends to release functions “to help audiences discover new content and authors.”
